A standard 5,000 lb warehouse forklift rents lower than a 15,000 lb industrial diesel unit. What size forklift do I need?
Match the rated capacity to your heaviest load plus a safety margin, and match the lift height to your top rack or stack. For most warehouse work a 5,000 lb cushion forklift is the baseline. For yards and mixed surfaces, a pneumatic-tire unit is safer. A specialist can size it to your loads.
What is the difference between cushion and pneumatic tires?
Cushion-tire forklifts run on smooth indoor floors and turn in tight aisles. Pneumatic-tire forklifts handle outdoor and mixed surfaces like gravel and asphalt. Pick cushion for warehouses and pneumatic for yards, docks, and rough ground.
Do you deliver forklifts and offer operator training?
Quinn delivers across Southern and Central California, with same-day delivery in metro LA. OSHA-compliant operator training is available as an add-on with your rental, and certification cards can be issued on delivery. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 for powered industrial trucks.
