Quinn Company S·O·S Fluid Analysis Laboratory

Quinn’s Fluid Analysis program was created to help our customers lower the cost of operating and maintaining their equipment.  We offer comprehensive oil, coolant and diesel fuel analysis and trend analysis at our laboratory. Fluid analysis provides a window into your equipment’s overall health.  Through trend analysis, we can help you detect potential problems long before they materialize.

At the core of Equipment Management is scheduled oil sampling.  Quinn’s S·O·S Fluid Analysis Lab is one of the most useful and important maintenance support programs available to you and your company.

Scheduled Oil Sampling (S·O·S) is a regular maintenance program developed by Caterpillar® to monitor the overall condition of all equipment types.  Although it was developed by Caterpillar, we don’t just service Cat equipment or even just construction equipment.  We complete oil, coolant and diesel fuel analysis for several types of equipment across numerous industries.  Some of these include:

Power Generation

In our laboratory, our technicians are able to test a number of factors to gain a comprehensive picture of the health of your engine, transmission, powertrain and other wearable components.  Routine oil sampling is recommended regularly and can depend on the application, hours, use, etc.  If you’re unsure of what “regularly” is for your equipment, just give us a call, and we’ll work with you to provide a recommendation that works for your equipment needs.  Quinn’s state-of-the-art oil, coolant and diesel fuel laboratory can evaluate characteristics from a fluid sample, which can include:
